Sylvia was a pet store purchase that made an impression on me the first time I saw her. I didn't need her for any of my lines and didn't purchase her. I returned to the same pet store a few weeks later and she was still there. She made another good impression so I took her home with me that time and I'm so glad that I did. She was one of the few hamsters that I bred to my Nominant Spot Dominant Spot male and she had a whooping 17 pups in her litter! While she only reared ten pups to weaning age, it was a great breeding that proved the male carried Cream and will allow me to see the effects of the Nominant Spot Dominant Spot on other genes other than Black much faster. Sylvia is a very big and active female, though she could use a broader head. She has not browned very much either so I'll probably work her into my Umbrous line.
